As part of 'the talent afternoons', children from OBS Brandevoort played table tennis three times at TTV Stiphout. On Friday March 2, 9 and 16, teacher Dick Lammers was in Stiphouse with 16 children.
The 1e The sport of table tennis was explained several times, followed by training including basic strokes and serving.
The 2e The afternoon consisted of a circuit on 8 tables including the robot, a small table, a net with holes, strange bats, etc. Various assignments and game forms were carried out, such as trying to return various difficult serves.
On the 3e An exciting tournament was held on the day with a small trophy for the final winner.
