As part of 'the talent afternoons' children from OBS Brandevoort played table tennis at TTV Stiphout three times. On Friday 2, 9 and 16 March teacher Dick Lammers was with 16 children in Stiphouse.
The 1and table tennis was explained on one occasion, followed by training including basic strokes and serving.
The 2and The afternoon consisted of a circuit on 8 tables with, among other things, the robot, a small table, a net with holes, strange bats, etc. Various assignments and game forms were carried out, such as trying to return various difficult serves.
On the 3and An exciting tournament was held on the day with a small trophy for the overall winner.
It was great fun. We -Pieter and Mick- also thought it was a great success! Thanks for the enthusiastic participation and spontaneous reactions.
