On Saturday, October 27, a black light tournament was organized for the first time in a long time. Because introductions were also allowed to participate, the number of registrations increased to 45 participants. The level varied from two-week member to premier league.
The hall was completely transformed for the blacklight tournament. While playing, several participants discovered that you don't see much after all. After the tournament had opened, the first doubles matches started, together with your introduction or a chosen partner. After a few rounds of doubles, they switched to singles. In this way, doubles were always alternated with singles.
The last matches were played around 4:45 PM and the awards ceremony took place at 5:00 PM with the following results:
1st prize introductory person: Amber van de Velde
1st prize member: Pieter van Rooij
1st prize double: Tutai Tran & Roeland Auwerda
Incentive prize: Joep van Beul
Sportsmanship Award: Roel van Rooij
The day ended with a chip shop where everyone could eat. The participants slowly went home. We hope everyone had a fun and sporty day.
