3 champions Autumn competition 2019
Last competition, 3 TTV Stiphout teams became champions.
In the TLE the 1st team, consisting of Bjorn Bor, Chris van Heijster, Ario Nab and
Bastiaan Nab champion in the 2nd class; congratulations! In the last match 3
points are achieved against closest competitor Veldhoven 1. The team succeeded in this
glorious; it became 5-5 due to victories by Bastiaan (2), Bjorn (2) and Chris (1). Mainly
Bastiaan had an important share in it, with a personal score of 86%
championship.
The team is thus promoted to the 1st division, the highest division in the Table Tennis League
Eindhoven.
Men 4, consisting of Arthur van den Bosch, Stijn Buurman, Gijs Wasser and Lex van de
Westelaken settled with their neighbors in a direct duel in the last match
competitor Deurne 2. Where 2 points were needed, they were 5. Arthur van den Bosch
won again, just like in the home match against Deurne, against Arjen Wilting, leaving him with
the highest percentage finished in this group: 93%!
Good luck next season in the 2nd division.
Last but certainly not least: Youth 1! They also had to play against in the last match in national C
competitor 't Belke from Tegelen in Limburg. The away match started well: we settled quite quickly
a 1-4 score on the scoreboard. 5 points were needed, so there was still 1 win left
to go. However, the home team did not throw in the towel yet. Supported
Thanks to many supporters, they came back to 2-4 and Stijn lost two matches
championship points and lost in the 5th game 12-10. Very sour. Frederique copied
