We are opening again - on a limited basis
The Stiphouse table tennis center will open its doors again from July 6. We do this a bit more limited than usual:
- On Monday evenings (at least on July 6, 13 and 20) for ALL youth members, from 6:20 PM - 8:00 PM;
- On Wednesday mornings from July 8 for Wednesday morning recreationists (every Wednesday, so no summer closure!), from 9 a.m. to 12 noon;
- On Thursday mornings from July 9 for Thursday morning recreationists (every Thursday, so no summer closure!), from 9 a.m. to 12 noon;
- On Thursday evenings for all youth members and all senior members, from 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM.
Guidelines will be posted in the building that you must adhere to. Additional hygiene measures apply and measures are being taken to comply with the one and a half meter rule.
A further protocol will follow
The 'Stiphouse open again' working group met today and is working out the measures. Posters are also made indicating the various guidelines. We also have to order some hygiene products. We will email the protocol to all members before July 6.
The youth trainer sent an addition to the protocol specifically for youth training.
The videos below show the walking route used in Stiphouse.
Stick to the agreements
But all agreements are only effective when everyone uses common sense! In other words: you will not come if you are ill yourself or if someone in your family or housemate is ill and adults, once in Stiphouse, must maintain a distance of one and a half meters. We count on everyone's cooperation.
Thank you
Finally, we would like to thank everyone very much for their patience in recent months. Patience that was – and still is – needed to get the coronavirus under control. Some members have had to deal with the virus in their immediate environment and know better than anyone that the measures are there for a reason.
As a board, we are very happy that we can play table tennis again. Do you have any questions? Please let us know by replying to this email. We hope to see as many members as possible again in the week of July 6!
