As you may have heard, the caretaker cabinet has decided to further relax the corona measures. This means that indoor sports facilities may reopen from today, Wednesday 19 May. We can play table tennis again!
For TTV Stiphout this means that we will open from today. The Wednesday morning recreational players can then – under the guidance of Will Wasser – hit a ball again. The Thursday morning group will follow (under the guidance of Bep) and Thursday evening is free play for all senior members. As far as we are concerned, the hall will remain open for the time being. Whether there will be a summer closure (the hall floor needs to be tackled properly) is still uncertain.
The training starts a week later on Wednesday evening 26 May. Arthur van den Bosch will provide the youth training that evening and Pieter van Rooij the senior training that follows. If there is a greater demand for seniors than we can accommodate, Pieter will consider providing training on Monday evenings as well. The training will continue until 4 July.
We hope to be able to return to the 'old' normal soon!
Kind regards, on behalf of the board,
Frenklin van der Burgt
