This season 10 teams participated in the business competition. In total, from October to
June, played 9 times on the third Tuesday of the month. Lots of sportsmanship and conviviality, with as
Tuesday June 18th, when the final evening took place with the award ceremonies.
After the last round of matches, while enjoying various cold and hot snacks, the
final standings and winners announced.
The pool with the extra matches resulted in a shared first place for Indonesia Travel and
Mart Stukadoors. Fortunately, the prize that came with it could be shared. Pool B became a prey
for team Harm Adriaans who became champions with a large lead. A cup as a permanent
souvenir and box of chocolates were their share. The strongest teams were in pool A. After
Last year team Feria took the title, this time it was the turn of M. van den Broek Installations. This
team took the title with a 5 point lead over Promeco. Actually, there was talk of
title extension, because the winners had a different sponsor last year. The challenge cup is again
for them, as well as a cup that they can keep and a box of chocolates.
Finally, the individual prizes were awarded for the best players in both pools. Anne
(on behalf of team Harm Adriaans) was the best player in pool B and Mick (team Promeco) was the best in
pool A.
For next season we hope/expect that all teams will participate again. In addition,
Already 2 new teams signed up! 12 teams in total means every 3rd Tuesday of the month is a lot
sportsmanship and conviviality in Stiphouse.
But also: the more the merrier! We can certainly accommodate 16 teams in this
competition. So if you and, for example, a colleague also want to participate: find a sponsor (perhaps
the company where you work) and register with Will (willwasser64@gmail.com) or Frenklin
(pr@ttvstiphout.nl). Depending on the number of teams, the new competition will start on
Tuesday September 17 or Tuesday October 15.
