This season, 10 teams took part in the company competition. In total, from October to
June, played 9 times on the third Tuesday of the month. Lots of sportsmanship and fun, with as
bouncer on Tuesday, June 18, when the final evening took place with the award ceremonies.
After the last round of competitions, while enjoying various cold and warm snacks, the
Final scores and winners announced.
The group with the extra matches resulted in a shared first place for Indonesia Travel and
Mart Plasterers. Fortunately, the prize that came with this could be shared. Pool B became prey
for team Harm Adriaans who became champions by a wide margin. A cup as permanent
a souvenir and a box of chocolates were theirs. The strongest teams were in group A. After
last year team Feria won the title, this time it was the turn of M. van den Broek Installations. This
team took the title 5 points ahead of Promeco. Actually, it was
title extension, because the winners had another sponsor last year. The challenge cup is back
for them, as well as a cup that they can keep and a box of chocolate.
Finally, individual prizes were also awarded for the best players in both groups. Anne
(on behalf of team Harm Adriaans) was the best player in group B and Mick (team Promeco) was the best in
pool A.
We hope/expect that all teams will participate again for next season. Moreover, they have
2 new teams already registered! 12 teams in total every 3rd Tuesday of the month means a lot
sportsmanship and conviviality in Stiphouse.
But it also applies: the more the merrier! We can certainly accommodate 16 teams in this one
League. So if you and a colleague, for example, also want to participate: find a sponsor (maybe
the company where you work) and register with Will (willwasser64@gmail.com) or Frenklin
(pr@ttvstiphout.nl). The new competition will start depending on the number of teams
Tuesday September 17 or Tuesday October 15.
